The Sharan

With timeless design and large windows, the Sharan is so inviting that you’ll want to get straight in. Its appeal is also down to:

The huge window area means that the optional tilting and sliding panoramic sunroof provides great views. The 1.1 m² area can be opened across almost the entire roof with ease. The glass is tinted for plenty of sun protection. An electric blind also offers protection from the sun and from wind noise when the roof is open.

The optional bi-xenon headlights offer not only impressive design, but also impressive technology. Their dynamic cornering lights follow your steering movements and the dipped beam headlights adapt to the speed – the faster you drive, the longer the beam of light. Another option to make you even more visible is the LED daytime running lights available in the package with the bi-xenon headlights. 

The combination of tyres and wheels that will make your Sharan look best is purely a matter of taste. But we’re sure you’ll make the right choice.

Is one person too warm and another too cold? With the optional three-zone control, the temperature can be independently adjusted for the driver, front passenger and rear passengers. On request, additional controls can also be provided for use from the rear seat. The indirect ventilation mode at the front means fresh air with no draughts. And if the windscreen washer system is used or the car is put into reverse gear, the system automatically switches to air recirculation mode to keep unpleasant smells outside. In short: an excellent environment all round in the Sharan.

A child in your right arm, shopping bags on your left arm – parents rarely have both hands free. That’s why the Sharan offers the option of electric sliding doors:

• Make it easier to get in and out of the car in tight parking spaces
• Gentle operation and particularly quiet closing
• Can be operated from outside using the key remote control or from inside at the touch of a button

The second seat row in the Sharan can be fitted with one or two integrated child seats on request:

• Suitable for children aged three and over
• Easy-to-install side head supports
• Including ISOFIX preparation as standard 

A classic: You’re in front of the luggage compartment with lots of baggage and don’t have a free hand to open it. With the optional ‘Easy Open’ feature, you can do it with your foot: a small motion beneath the rear of the vehicle – and the luggage compartment opens. It's just as easy to close by pressing the button on the boot lid.

The interior of the ‘Black Style’ special model creates a particularly elegant atmosphere thanks to the following equipment:
