At the beginning of the new millennium, the 9N1 sets new standards through innovations, design and dimensions. It’s powerful engine is the 1.9 l TDI engine with 96 kW. Discover a selection of further highlights of the 9N1 and the notchback model, the 9N2:

Polo Fun: An off-road look with front and rear apron, standard fog lights and 17" alloy wheels are just a couple of its special features.

Polo 4 Saloon: This model stands out thanks to its notchback, which elongates the vehicle body by 28 cm. This visual difference is reflected in the vehicle interior by a luggage compartment that is approximately 150 l larger than in the hatchback versions. The notchback version of the Polo has thus earned its own type name: 9N2.

Safety: ABS, power steering, and front and side airbags, plus belt tensioners and belt force limiters are all standard equipment. The ESC and brake assist system ensure an even more comfortable drive.

Design: A striking radiator grille and four round headlamps give the Polo its unmistakable look. Its curves, radii and lines guarantee a successful performance.

Comfort: The 9N1 has grown by more than 15 cm in length. The wheelbase is over 5 cm larger – giving you more legroom inside. With a folded-down rear bench, the luggage compartment has a volume of 1030 l.
