What is AdBlue® exactly? Which models use AdBlue® and how to top up AdBlue®? These questions are answered here in black and white.
AdBlue® is an odourless urea solution, whose task is to reduce harmful nitrogen oxides in the exhaust gases of diesel vehicles. A complex reaction, which proceeds completely unnoticed by you as a driver. All you have to do is simply top up AdBlue® after several thousand kilometres.

How do you recognise AdBlue® models apart from their lower emissions of nitrogen oxide? By a separate AdBlue® filler neck – in addition to the diesel filler neck, in the boot or engine compartment. Why? AdBlue® is an operating fluid, not a fuel additive and must be added separately.
