Depending on the selected online language, there is also a connection to the Wikipedia knowledge database and “ChatGPT” artificial intelligence. You interact with AI when you use the voice assistant and/or when the AI (artificial intelligence) symbol is shown in the infotainment screen (available depending on model and equipment). If you consent to the processing of your location data for the online voice assistant, or add location information to your voice request, you will also receive location-specific search results. Depending on your vehicle’s software version, you may give consent while connecting your vehicle with your Volkswagen ID user account, or subsequently in your Volkswagen ID user account or via the link https://www.myvolkswagen.net/start/en/onlinespeechconsent.html, which is also displayed in your vehicle infotainment system in the form of a code (available depending on model and equipment).
