The check for your brakes
The brakes in your Volkswagen are the safety-relevant parts that are subjected to the most strain. To make sure they always work properly, have your brakes checked and maintained on a regular basis. During our Brake Check, we test the functioning of the various components in your brake system, including the parking brake, and inspect the brake fluid level. If a part is defect, we’ll take care of its repair or replacement during the Brake Service.
Brakes
Our brakes are tailor-made for your Volkswagen. The brake system includes the brake discs and pads that work with the brake system. For quality that goes beyond the statutory braking standard, ECE-R90.
Your benefits
- Safer:
The interaction between all the components means that you benefit from rapid responsiveness of the brake system and therefore a shorter braking distance. - Precision-fit:
Developed for your Volkswagen and tailored to its weight, performance and maximum speed. This means: Long service life and braking comfort with minimum wear. - Greater endurance:
Confirmed in complex practical tests in a range of weather conditions and with up to 1,000 consecutive hard brakes on the test bench.
Brake fluid
Our brake fluid works even at very high and very low temperatures and extends time between maintenance appointments: Our brake fluid has been specially developed for your Volkswagen brake system and is so much more than simply standard – it even sets its own: The VW standard 50114.
Your benefits
- Gentle on materials:
Doesn’t affect the rubber seals and absorbs moisture. This reduces the risk of corrosion. - Excellent performance in cold conditions:
Ready for operation, even at temperatures as low as -40 °C. - Longer maintenance interval:
Extends the first maintenance interval of a new Volkswagen (from model year 2008 upwards) from two to three years.
