The offer is available to private retail customers only and is subject to availability and while stocks last. To qualify, a vehicle being traded in must be registered in the Republic of Ireland, first registered in 2013 or earlier & be in a condition acceptable to the participating Volkswagen Retailer. The Scrappage Offer is available across selected petrol, diesel, plug-in hybrid (PHEV) and battery electric vehicle (BEV) models.
The Volkswagen scrappage of up to €13,500 is inclusive of the Government EV scrappage incentive of €8,500, valid only for qualified customers purchasing a fully electric model & trading in cars 13 years and older.
The scrappage allowance is applied as a discount against the recommended retail price of a new vehicle and is not redeemable for cash. This offer is not available in conjunction with any other offers, promotions, unless explicitly stated.
