Yes. The best way to do it is with the Volkswagen Genuine Touch-up Pencil. They enable you to remedy minor damage to paintwork yourself.^⁠2 The damaged area cannot exceed 8–10 mm in diameter or the scratch can be no longer than 50–80 mm.

As soon as you have applied the base paint you can seal it after 20 minutes with clear coat or, if the damaged area is deeper, apply another coat of base paint. After 2 to 3 days, carefully polish the affected area and avoid visiting the car wash for one week.
