Optionally the advanced main-beam control Dynamic Light Assist improves visibility at night (Standard on Style version).

The system can detect oncoming vehicles and vehicles ahead and automatically masks the corresponding areas of your main beam headlights.3

In built-up areas, the vehicle also switches automatically from main beam to dipped beam. This means that you can drive for longer and more often with the main beam on. Streets are thus better illuminated and obstacles can be detected earlier.

The Taigo comes with Lane Assist as standard. Also included as standard is the Front Assist emergency braking system. The Taigo can also be optionally equipped with further assist systems, such as Travel Assist.*

As flexible as your driving style

You can adjust the Taigo to suit your driving style with the optional driving mode selection. Depending on what is most important to you. Simply select the driving profile you want by pressing the button or using the touchscreen and then the drive system, steering response and even the gear-shift points will be adjusted automatically. What’s more, the electronic differential lock XDS acts as a transverse limited-slip differential, which compensates for understeering on fast bends as is typical with front-wheel drive models. Completely automatic. And extremely comfortably.

The optional Discover Media navigation system features a 20.3 cm (8 inch) touchscreen, intuitive navigation with Dynamic Road Sign Display and an aerial for FM and DAB+ digital radio reception. As a wireless interface, the system is also readied for App-Connect Wireless and has several USB-C ports (charging capacity of up to 45 W) as well as pre-installed map material.
