ID. software 3.0 update

With the ID. software 3.0, Volkswagen provides you with improvements, e.g. enhanced charging and energy management, navigation and voice control. Furthermore, you can enjoy new functions, such as the In-Car App “Vehicle Service” or the “Service Appointment Scheduling” feature. The update is free of charge. Many of these improvements are based on customer feedback and ideas.

Currently you are using We Connect with your ID. model. With this update you now have the option to receive the next generation of Mobile Online Services free of charge, consisting of two packages: We Connect and We Connect Plus. We Connect includes additional vehicle-related services, such as the status of doors and lights, and is unlimited in duration. We Connect Plus includes, among other things, the new Online Point of Interest search for navigation, and Volkswagen also covers the data costs for internet radio. We Connect Plus can be extended for a fee after an initial period.

The contents of this software update are part of the ID. software 3.2 update. It is carried out by a Volkswagen Retailer in the workshop. Further information is available on the ID. software 3.2 update page.
